What is one food that you refuse to try? Why?

Northern (soon to be South Western) France's answer:
Well, I s'pose that would have to be those huge bugs they sell at the Asian Food Shop. The reason being that those just disgust me. However, if I was offered them I wouldn't refuse--one must be polite you know. I used to be adversed to escargot but then quickly got over myself when they were served to me it hot, dripping, garlic buttah... *licks lips* most scrumptious.

Southern Italy's answer:
Horse meat, because I like horses too much. And this is just like one of those "oh horses are so pretty!" things either. I've had pet horses and I really like them! That, or tongue, because that just confuses me... "Ooh! Look at that big muscle inside that cow's mouth! Let's eat it!"... yich. Howevah! I would not refuse if offered... I'd just gag a lot and ask to please leave the table.

Elizabeth: (puts arms around him) Taro, may I ask you something?
Taro: (kisses her head) Sure.
Elizabeth: (bites lip) Will you marry me?
Taro: (eyes widen) Seriously?
Elizabeth: (looks nervous) Well... You haven't asked me yet... And... I really like you Taro.
Taro: (blinks) I was going to ask you tommorrow at the museum oening, seeing as it would be a bit more romantic than proosing during 'Spaceballs'.
Elizabeth: (looks happy) Oh! You can propose to me then! Here. (hands him engagement ring) I got this for you.
Taro: (opens box, kisses her on the top of the head) Thank you so much. Will you still act surprised tommorrow?

Arghhhhh.... Chess class is taking over my life... I'm nearly done with the stuff I wanted to get done today, but then I have more to do on Monday. And I have sewing stuff to get done.

Past's Present to You is going to have to wait. I've kind of gotten out of my writter's block. I'm working on Chapter 10 which is... DUN DUN DUN! THE LAST ONE!!!!!

I feel to special. I actually am finishing a fanfiction I think I did a good job on. This would be the... second(?) multi-chapter I've really finished. I'm working on that YushiGakuto one. I'm writing all the chapters beforehand so I don't go about half-way, run out of ideas, and never finish it. It's probably going to be pretty short.

Damn Writer's Block!

Seriously! I have not had such a huge case of this for almost a year. I keep thinking "Oh, I ought to write in PPTY." But once I open the page all I can do is stare at the screen with my hands on the keyboard. It's mainly because I have absolutely NO IDEA where that story is going! It's a nightmare! I know where I want it to END, but it's getting there that's the problem.

However, I have been productive in some other fields. I made two awesome music videos, one is to 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go' by Wham! and the other one is to 'Walk Away' by Kelly Clarkson. They both use really embarrassing clips of North France and my eldest sister doing stupid dances. North France does her fabulous "Tea Pot" dance (or some variant of) and my eldest sister does her normal dance. (She does crazy people dancing.)

I also have written a couple of songs. Here is a bit of one:

(P.S. I'm listening to the song Father Figure, which I spent 2 days making an AMV of a couple months ago. I've been having trouble listening to it for a while because all I can think of is faults in my AMV and I can barely hear it over my thoughts. But listening to it now... I'm enjoying it again. New Fanfiction: Coming Soon

Okay, right now I am working on the coolest fanfiction EVER. Okay, not the coolest. BUT DAMN COOL! This is a summary:

Oshitari likes Gakuto. Gakuto likes him back but he's afraid his parents will hate him because they're all square. Whenever he has a "naughty" dream or thought, he shoves it to the back of his mind. So Yuushi asks Gakuto out and Gakuto gets freaked out and runs off. Thus the drama begins!

Yeah. I'm not really finished with it yet. Atobe is currently having a "deep" conversation with Gakuto. I also did a flashback without just typing "Flashback" and "End Flashback" to avoid flames from my favorite flamer, Ore-sama No Like. I've been writing it while listening to 'Fantasy' and 'Monkey' by George Michael. They kind of have to do with the fic, but it's more the tone they help me write, you know?

The story was a request from Winter Marshmallows. She wanted me to write a Dirty Pair fic for her. she didn't give me any boundaries so... yeah...

Anyway, brief overview (so when it is up maybe you can care to read it):
Ryoma comes home with some minor appearence changes that happen to freak Nanjiro out.
Nanjiro acts like an idiot.
Ryoma annoys him.

Honestly, I just wanted to write a story to ANNOY NANJIRO ECHIZEN.

Al's Well is still up (link in previous post) with only 2 reviews. Would work on next chapter but have loads of school stuff to work on.

Old Fiat S. Italy --- Best is a (one-shot) story about everyones' favourite Ototo and his recent issues with his family. Mizuki and he talk about their toubles.

Old Fiat N. France --- Al's Well is a story about Oshitari Yuushi (of Hyôtei Gakuen) getting involved with a rather dangerous lady. This story is inspired by the film "Brick" and a bunch of other detective flicks. It is now posted on fanfiction.

Right now I'm trying to figure out something to write for the American teen mag "Cicada", they pay 25 US cents per word and will accept fiction pieces up to 5,000 words in length (meaning I could {in theory, presuming they liked my story} make 1,250 US dollars from this (which would be about 837 €) from it).

I've got most of the characters worked out now I just am having problems with plot... I think I've decided it's going to be one of those "be yourself" stories since I have the most expierience in that field (in other words: nobody liked me before and they didn't like me any more when I tried to change myself).

Fanfiction.net is still boring my trousers off... well, boring my trousers on. I'm working on a manga for a story I started a year or so ago. It's called "Nacht Story" (and I do know nacht just means night but it's the character's name, okay?) and it's about an assassin in a fantasy realm and his life. Right now he is being forced to be someone's escort by the emporer/king.

We watched Persuasion on telly (itv1) last night and the woman playing Mary looked like Prince William... which was disconcerting... to say the least. Also the main girl was rather plain looking. Man playing Capt. Freddy was okay looking but kind of creepy.

My fanfiction.net is boring now. There is nothing on there by anyone I like and nothing that catches my eye. Mostly I've just been looking at this persons site (you have to scroll down to the link that takes you to their site) filled with their fabulous art. I found them par deviantart.com
I love Harry Potter fan-art. Except... I don't really like the homosexual pairings in it... same with fan-fiction in Harry Potter... it just annoys me because the only two characters who I can imagine like that are Sirius and Lupin. Only, now that Sirius is dead and Lupin's pursuing Tonx that seems not bloody likely.

holiday in the sun

Okay,

So OFSI and I are back from our supposed "holiday in the sun" which was not very sunny and rather chilly. Nice was nice though and Provence was lovely... just damned cold. I didn't expect to be living out of a hoody but that's all that I did! I brought all this bitchin sun-wear but had very minor sun with which to expose it. Bugger, had to wear a hoody the whole time. Oh well.

It's a 12 hr drive down to Nice if you take the route "reims, lyon, avignon, cannes, nice" but it took us 14 hrs the first time. However, we did make many stops and started later. The second time it took us 11hrs55minutes I think so we beat the 12 hr thing (woot!) and didn't make as many stops. However, we did have sandewichs thanks to Auntie Christine. Also, we got to see a lot more this time because we started earlier. Lyon is interesting (looking... from the Autoroute) and Reims has some fabulous church that I'll have to look into some time.

Nice was brill, as usual. Didn't get any shopping done though, and didn't get to visit the old town again. Oh well.

Why Can't You Go Some Place on Vacation?

Yay!! So I've done all my Science and History for up until the end of this week!!! And what happens this week? VACATION!! I also have 1 lesson left in Math until the end of this week!

Main problem: Language Arts.
The damned book I'm supposed to be reading hasn't arrived yet so I can't do anything in the lessons. Ughhh...

But in the meantime I have nothing to do and can write, draw and play outside and stuff!! Yay!

Also, I've discovered some other awesome George Michael songs that I had skipped over on the CD before. One is called 'This is not Real Love' and it's a duet with Mutya (ex-Sugababe). It's slow, but has a story in the lyrics. I'm working on making an AMV for Ouran High School Host Club with it.

A new chapter posted on 'Past's Present to You'. I'm also twiddling around with the new one I wrote. I want it to be perfect.

Badminton

Badminton is so fun. It's harder than tennis for me because the court is tiny, the racquets are miniscule, and the sweet-spot is about the size of the shuttle-cock. However, I think it might help me improve my tennis so it's fun to play for that reason.

I finished I know why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou for English Class. It was actually a very good book--a bit sad, yes--but very good.

Dinner party last night with Latin/French professor. I think I was a good host. I spoke a lot more french than I usually do, I said almost everything in french and only used english when it was absolutely necessary. I also used the Passé Simple and Passé Composé correctly. It was fun.
